That's about 60% cheaper than purchasing a pair at full price (and 60% cheaper than getting the Pro 3s). As a factory reconditioned item, the earbuds have been returned, inspected, and restored to their full glory by Apple or a certified partner. As Woot! puts it, "It's as close to new as you can get without technically being new."
Sure, the new AirPods Pro 3 improve upon ANC and battery life and come with some fancy new tricks, but the second-generation AirPods Pro are still pretty awesome. They've been our favorite earbuds for Apple users and topped our lists of the best headphones for a few years now, thanks to their rich and well-balanced sound, excellent noise cancellation, and seamless Apple ecosystem integration.
